rich kimball presented his latest art installation on friday april 5th at 201 e. mulberry in angleton, tx. 'conference call feedback' was likely kimball's most utilitarian work to date consisting of 2 adjoining office spaces with 4 phones. calling from the 5979 extension he 'conferenced' the other 3 phones and put all 4 phones on speaker which gave us a beautiful feedback hum that joined the 2 offices in an electronic bliss. any discussion by visitors to the installation added more echoes and piercing tones. -sharpe james
